STUDENTS FROM ALL BACKGROUNDS, NATIONALITIES AND EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS WILL BE CONSIDERED

TJIS is open to everyone – parents and guardians, to enquire about the admission criteria in the school. Though, it is expected of the candidates to posses some basic knowledge and academic achievement to be considered for admission in order to ensure their capability to cope with the curricular and extracurricular activities within the school.

Admission can be sought for Nursery To IX, and XI ( Day school / Day Boarding / Week Boarding & Boarding ). While applying for admission parents and guardians are requested to submit all necessary documents. The admission procedures for different levels are as follows –
 

  • Nursery to Class I – Direct admission

  • Class II to Class III – General Aptitude Test

  • Class IV to Class IX & Class XI – Entrance Test

DETAILS OF APTITUDE/ENTRANCE TEST

After the application for seeking admission is submitted the student needs to undergo the aptitude/entrance test in order to qualify for admission. The test is of 1 hour duration and is based on the subjects English, Science, Mathematics and Social Science. The syllabus will cover the topics covered by the student in the standard previous to the one he/she is seeking admission to. The details of the aptitude/entrance test are also available along with the admission kit provided by TJIS. Once the admission form is submitted, the test can be taken on any working day at The Jain International School, Bilaspur.

Admission is strictly on merit basis and will be based on the performance by the candidate in the aptitude/entrance test.

Provision admission is provided to the students who have been selected but have not provided the necessary documents. Being put on the waiting list does not guarantee admission to TJIS. Admission is confirmed only after all necessary formalities are completed.
Both girls and boys may opt for hostel facility at the time of admission.
